ABOUT AMOLD
A motivational consultancy company, delivering real-life-based experiences, to help people with their day-to-day challenges. Whilst also promoting key learnings and cementing new positive habits and behaviours.
Here at Amold ‘We don’t attach ourselves to the outcome when something happens to us’. We visualise step by step how to get there, reducing anxieties. Our mission is to guide, help and shape you, to be the best you can be. Set yourself no limits.
When Chris Currie founded Amold, his ambition was to:
Pass on his tactics and experiences to all generations, especially the younger generation. As it is his passion to help younger people, develop and learn essential habits and behaviours, developing their minds as they grow.
Amold was initially created as an acronym and each letter represents a meaning. Within Amold, Chris has built a 5 step guide to help people, with anything they are faced with in life. Changing habits and behaviours for life’s approach. Chris then turned it into his company.
Equality, safeguarding and ensuring our commitment, are to a consistently high standard when working with our clients as they expect. These are paramount to our company’s morals and values.
Amold means Power of an Eagle in German and Swedish and in Spanish, Amoldo; The Eagle rules.
Stay calm and positive in flight and you’ll sure to be flying with direction in sight. Be Amold®
ABOUT CHRIS CURRIE
FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
Chris Currie from Beckenham, Greater London. A passionate fit and healthy sportsperson, grew up playing football for several professional clubs. Including his fondest memories, as an apprentice at Brentford Football Club from 1997-99. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it as a professional, but he took a lot away from his time there.
Discipline, respect for others always, attitude and passion were key components. He continued playing non-league football, up until 26 and then he went traveling around the world, which was a great experience both mentally and physically.
He then went on to work in the City until 36 for a Financial Services company. He was faced with bowel cancer and a major stroke, all within a month of each other in October of 2016. Spending 3 months in hospital were huge life lessons. Cutting short his career by 5 and a half years. Cancer-free but still rebuilding from the ground up.
These life adversity experiences, of rebuilding again from the ground up, are lessons and learnings he intends to pass on to others, to help them when faced with any setbacks, goal setting and general day-to-day life challenges.
His newfound passion is helping others through the dark times, to feel the bright times. Just like he has experienced.
He has shared his story and featured in fitness and health magazine publications, as well as writing a 3-part series blog with protein provider Pulsin UK. He has also filmed a short film piece with Fitbit, whilst also filming with the BBC on his return visit to Brentford FC. He has been a guest speaker at Wembley Stadium, for the FA staff talking about his journey.
